Lion Doreen Thomas became a Lion in 1966 when she joined The Central Brooklyn Lions Club Inc.
Lion Doreen served the club in many elected positions namely Tail twister first second and third vice president and President respectively. She has also chaired several committees and was courier for Lions Eye Bank for Long Island.
Her service is not limited to Lions activity Lion Doreen is a member of Fennimore Street United Methodist Church where she is committed to serve. She is on the Pastor Parish Relations committee, Health and Welfare committee and a member of United Methodist Women.
Lion Doreen has received numerous awards. Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow Robert J Uplinger award also Outstanding Service from her church.
Lion Doreen believes that we are here to serve not to be served.
