On Monday, January 25, 2010, District Governor Alvin Brereton, 1st VDG Pauline Francis, 2nd VDG Gloria Askew, CS Nalda Wilkins and District Photographer Wilfred Lawrence, of District 20-K1, presented a check in the  amount of $75,000 to Mr. Ken Manger, Director of the Lions Eye Bank at Northshore Hospital.  The grant will help facilitate advanced eye surgery techniques and the purchase of tools and equipment for the new location at 1554 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, New York.
